Event Caddie Cap at Dubai Invitational

Steve Rutter proudly represented Event Caddie at the Dubai Invitational with the Event Caddie logo cap.  He rubbed shoulders with Ryder Cup stars, pop legends, and DP World Tour professionals at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

During the tournament, Steve wore the Event Caddie cap. This showcased our custom golf merchandise on one of golf’s most high-profile stages. The week combined serious competition with star-studded fun.

In addition, between rounds and Pro-Am games, Steve captured memorable moments with Tommy Fleetwood, Ronan Keating, and Guido Migliozzi. He also highlighted the Event Caddie brand, showing how our customised golf apparel and branded golf caps shine at corporate golf events.

The Dubai Invitational’s unique Pro-Am format creates unforgettable moments beyond the leaderboard. For example, sunshine, celebrity encounters, championship golf, and a strong brand presence summed up Steve’s week perfectly.

Watch Steve in action and see the Event Caddie cap in the spotlight!

Tuesday 16th December was a special day for the Event Caddie team, as we had the pleasure of visiting Acushnet Europe HQ in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, for a pre Christmas visit.

It was a fantastic opportunity to spend time with the George and the Acushnet team, review our 2025 performance, and look ahead to how we can accelerate growth in 2026—all while gaining behind-the-scenes insight into how some of the world’s leading golf products are created.

A Warm Welcome at Acushnet Europe for the Event Caddie Team

From the moment we arrived, the visit felt more like catching up with colleagues than a formal meeting. As one member of the Event Caddie team put it:

“Finally meeting the team and putting faces to the names—we genuinely feel like they’re part of our team.”

That sense of partnership set the tone for a productive and enjoyable day.

Event Caddie Catches Up with Golf Caddie Had TrenfieldLet’s chat with LPGA caddie Had!

This week, Event Caddie HQ had the pleasure of welcoming Had Trenfield for a cup of coffee and a chat. During his visit, he shared his Christmas wishes. Had, a Worcestershire local, has been part of our extended caddie family for some time. Before he jets off for the start of the LPGA 2026 season, it was wonderful to catch up.

Had caddies on the LPGA Tour for Swedish star and 2025 US Open Champion Maja Stark, who is currently ranked 15th in the world in the Rolex Women’s Golf Rankings. Meanwhile, between tournaments, he’s taking a well-earned break at home—catching up on family, football, and the occasional festive treat. As an avid Aston Villa fan, he has also been keeping an eye on their season.

The Evolution of Event Caddie

Event Caddie and Driving Sales have been a key driver in the event management and gifting industry over the past 20 years. Both companies were founded by Neil Williams and directed by Sue Williams. This blog is an insight into Event Caddie’s journey and why we are an established leading supplier in the industry.

A Message from the Founder

‘22 years ago, I had a back operation which meant I had to change my career in retail management. At the time my hobbies were golf and running an online golf directory website called Goinggoinggolf. I started Driving Sales Ltd in 2004, which was originally helping golf courses connect with local businesses through sponsorship. Event Caddie became a trading name supplying the corporate market with embroidered and printed golf gifts and clothing. Starting the business gave me a new direction and helped me with my recovery and my mental health.

I’m passionate about delivering the best customer service, and my experience in retail helps me visualise the company through the website.’ – Neil.
