Caddie Sonny, wearing the Event Caddie cap throughout the week, was alongside Alexandra Försterling during another impressive week on the Ladies European Tour.

She produced a strong and composed performance at the WPGA Australian Women’s Open on the Gold Coast, finishing runner-up after four rounds of consistent golf.

She stayed in contention throughout the tournament and secured another excellent finish early in the season, reinforcing her growing form on tour.

The Sunshine Coast swing is drawing to a close, with attention now turning to Sanctuary Cove Golf & Country Club on the Gold Coast for the Australian WPGA Championship. This event marks the final stop of the Australian stretch before the tour moves on.

EAGLE EYE SONNY!  Back-to-Back Eagles at Kooyonga

Our sponsored caddie Sonny is on the world stage this week. He’s caddying for Alexandra Försterling at the Women’s Australian Open in Adelaide, Australia. Meanwhile, the tournament is a flagship Ladies European Tour event. It attracts top players from around the world. With a $1.7 million prize fund, every shot counts.

Play takes place at Kooyonga Golf Club, founded in 1923. Its tree-lined fairways, firm greens, and strategic bunkers reward precision. In particular, the par‑5 9th hole is challenging.

Headline moments have already happened. For example, Försterling eagled the 9th two days running, including a stunning approach shot in round two. Her opening round 67 (−5) put her in contention.
