This week, Event Caddie HQ had the pleasure of welcoming Had Trenfield for a cup of coffee and a chat. During his visit, he shared his Christmas wishes. Had, a Worcestershire local, has been part of our extended caddie family for some time. Before he jets off for the start of the LPGA 2026 season, it was wonderful to catch up.

Had caddies on the LPGA Tour for Swedish star and 2025 US Open Champion Maja Stark, who is currently ranked 15th in the world in the Rolex Women’s Golf Rankings. Meanwhile, between tournaments, he’s taking a well-earned break at home—catching up on family, football, and the occasional festive treat. As an avid Aston Villa fan, he has also been keeping an eye on their season.

A Florida Finale – LPGA wraps up it’s season with the ANNIKA in Belleair, Florida

The LPGA season finale takes centre stage this week as the Tour heads to Florida for The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, held at the beautifully maintained Pelican Golf Club in Belleair.

Renowned for its pristine Bermuda fairways, challenging green complexes, and classic design influences, Pelican demands both precision and strategy.

Smart angles are rewarded, while any lapse in discipline can be costly. With CME points, year-end momentum, and a final trophy on the line, players arrive with a mix of urgency and opportunity.

This event is famous for tight leaderboards and dramatic Sunday finishes, making it an ideal stage for late-season breakthroughs or veteran statements. LPGA Highlights – Pro Caddie Fraser at the LOTTE Championship

This week, the 2025 LOTTE Championship kicked off at Hoakalei Country Club in Ewa Beach, Oʻahu. From October 1–4, 2025, 120 of the world’s top women golfers competed. The $3 million purse and $450,000 winner’s prize added extra pressure. Players faced Hoakalei’s par-72, 6,500-yard course, which tested skill and strategy at every hole.

The course challenged golfers with water hazards, strategic bunkers, and elevated greens. In addition, the Pacific winds made scoring unpredictable. As a result, even simple holes could become difficult. The seaside setting, combined with rolling inland terrain, provided a dramatic backdrop. Fans enjoyed sweeping ocean views, adding to the island’s vibrant atmosphere.

Hawaiian Kickoff Prepares Players for the Asian Swing

This year, the Wednesday–Saturday schedule gave players extra recovery time. It was also a warm-up for the LPGA’s Asian Swing. Next, the tour heads to Shanghai (Buick LPGA). Then it continues in Korea (BMW Championship), Malaysia (Maybank), and Japan (TOTO Classic). From Hawaii’s waves to Asia’s fairways, the LPGA Tour is becoming truly global. Hoakalei was the perfect launchpad for a season filled with precision, risk, and excitement.

Its undulating fairways, tricky bunkers, and fast bentgrass greens demand precision. Natural elevation changes and wooded terrain add to the test, making every shot count. The event draws the world’s best women golfers for 54 holes of stroke play. With a $3 million purse, the stakes are high, and dramatic finishes are common. Fans can enjoy not only the action but also pro-ams, community events, and an electric atmosphere throughout the week. Ending the month in full swing!  This weeks recap includes LPGA highlights and charity events.  Fraser is in action at TPC Boston for the FM Championship. Our Kent U14 boys are heading to the South East League Final. We supported the Man Down Cornwall charity golf day. Fraser at the FM Championship in Boston Our sponsored caddie, Fraser, is on the bag with Emily Pedersen this week at the prestigious FM Championship.  The tournament is taking place at the renowned TPC Boston. Known for its challenging layout and perfectly sculpted fairways, TPC Boston has long been a favourite stop on the tour. Not only does the course test players with its risk-reward par 5s, but its lightning-fast greens also demand precision and strategy at every turn. As the championship gets underway, Fraser is right in the heart of the action, expertly guiding his player through one of New England’s most celebrated courses. Moreover, with each hole presenting a new challenge, the duo navigates TPC Boston’s legendary design, successfully blending skill, strategy, and experience. Emily Pedersen got off to an impressive start at the FM Championship at TPC Boston. After the first round, she shot a 5-under-par 67, putting her in a tie for 5th place alongside notable players such as Nelly Korda, Minjee Lee, and Celine Boutier.  As the competition heats up, all eyes will be on Boston this week, where every hole could make a difference in the chase for the championship. Weekly Highlights – Fraser at the Canadian Women’s Open After a week’s break, Fraser is back on the bag with the Event Caddie Cap. This week, he’s heading to Mississauga for the CPKC Women’s Canadian Open, where the LPGA’s top players will compete for the national championship. The stage this year is the historic Mississaugua Golf & Country Club, a century-old gem along the Credit River. The course was shaped by legendary architects George Cumming, Donald Ross, and Stanley Thompson. Known for rolling terrain, tree-lined fairways, and newly renovated greens, it demands precision and patience, making it the perfect setting for Fraser to get back into the flow of championship golf. Before the tournament, Fraser is taking a quick tourist stop at the majestic Niagara Falls — and yes, we’re definitely a little jealous!

An LPGA Highlight for Fraser – The Women’s US Open at Erin Hills Golf Club, Wisconsin

After sealing the Home Soil Hat-Trick last weekend, Fraser Riddler — along with the Event Caddie cap — is taking a well-earned breather before heading to Ontario, Canada for next week’s Canadian Open. We caught up with him during this short break to reflect on the LPGA season so far, from major championship moments to lion mascots in football shirts.

Major Memories & LPGA Season Highlights

For Fraser, the LPGA Majors are always a thrill. This year brought new stops, including the spectacular Erin Hills and the windswept Royal Porthcawl. But one memory stands out above the rest: “Seeing Emily play with confidence and contend at the Evian Championship was special,” he says.

A Caddie’s Favourite Turf

Erin Hills earns the top spot in Fraser’s personal rankings so far. “It was a tough setup — you had to be strategic on every shot. It was rare you could aim straight at the pin. You were always playing to sections and areas. It made you work very hard as a caddie,” he explains.
