The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G is a highlight of the LPGA Tour each September. It takes place at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas, set among the rolling hills of the scenic Ozark Mountains.

This par-71, 7,001-yard course challenges every part of a golfer’s game. Its undulating fairways, tricky bunkers, and fast bentgrass greens demand precision. Natural elevation changes and wooded terrain add to the test, making every shot count.

The event draws the world’s best women golfers for 54 holes of stroke play. With a $3 million purse, the stakes are high, and dramatic finishes are common. Fans can enjoy not only the action but also pro-ams, community events, and an electric atmosphere throughout the week.

Past champions include Thidapa Suwannapura (2024), Ryu Hae-ran (2023), and Atthaya Thitikul (2022). Their victories highlight the level of competition and the prestige of this Ozark classic.

Silver Success – Kent U14s boys finish runners up in SE Final

Junior Team Update

Kent U14's take silver at the SE Final

Kent U14 Golf Team take silver at the SE Final

Kent’s Under-14 boys’ team battled hard at the SE Final over the weekend at Bramshaw Golf Club in the New Forest. To start with, they faced tough competition from Kent, Surrey, and Bedfordshire.

Before play began, the weekend kicked off with a fun team-building evening at a local pub. Players and parents enjoyed dinner and a spirited game of Jenga, which helped set a positive tone before the matches.

During the competition, the challenge was fierce. Surrey fielded five players with handicaps of 1 or better, making every match tough. Even so, Kent’s boys fought bravely, with five games going to the final hole. In the end, Surrey claimed a 7-3 victory. Nevertheless, Kent’s win over Bedfordshire secured the runners-up spot. The team proudly received silver medals from Martin McDermott of England Golf. One cheeky player was even heard joking, “We would have beaten them at Jenga!”

As this event wrapped up, it also marked a farewell for eight squad members, including Captain Oscar Ford and 2024 skipper Oliver McDonnell. They now move up to the U16s after years of commitment and leadership. Looking ahead, Kent’s Triple Shield-winning U13 squad provides a strong nucleus for next year’s U14 team, which promises a bright future for Kent Golf.

Finally, Event Caddie is proud to have supported the team this season as official kit sponsor with embroidered teamwear fromFootjoy. View our embroidered golf clothing range here.

One Week Out– Bethpage Black braced for golf’s fiercest showdown

One Week until the Ryder Cup begins - Golf's ultimate clash

One Week until the Ryder Cup begins – Golf’s ultimate clash

We are just seven days away from golf’s ultimate clash. The Ryder Cup returns on September 26–28 — and the excitement is electric.

Already, Team Europe is putting in the work. The full 12-man squad, captained by Luke Donald, has arrived at Bethpage Black for practice rounds. They are soaking in every contour, bunker, and dogleg well before match day.

To sharpen their edge, they have added virtual reality sessions into their training. These simulate the roar of crowds, heckling, and all the chaos New York can bring. Rory McIlroy says it helps with resilience and focus under pressure.

Meanwhile, Donald’s prep strategy blends team bonding with flexibility. The schedule includes nine holes one day, eighteen the next, and surprise dinners in the city to feel the vibe. Players also have time for rest, coach sessions, and personal routines.

As a result, Europe’s esprit de corps is growing. The mantra is clear: know the course, sharpen the mind, embrace the atmosphere — and let performance do the talking when Ryder Cup week begins.
