Fraser travels from Scotland to Wales this weekend as the spotlight turns to Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. Notably, the historic course hosts the prestigious Women’s Open for the first time.
Set against the dramatic South Wales coastline, this historic links course offers a formidable test for the world’s best golfers. With that in mind, the sea is visible from every hole, combining stunning scenery with true championship challenge.
Golf course architects Harry Colt and Martin Ebert refined Royal Porthcawl after its original design in 1891. The course challenges even skilled players with fast, undulating greens, deep pot bunkers, and unpredictable coastal winds. In particular, standout holes include the short, deceptive 8th and the dramatic closing 18th beside the clubhouse. Together, the challenging layout and breath-taking scenery create an unforgettable setting. As a result, the tournament promises world-class golf and a thrilling showcase of talent.

At Their Second Golf Event of the Summer
 Kent Under 14’s Win Second Match of the Season, Sponsored by Event Caddie Also in this week’s highlights, covering both golf events and corporate gift orders, our fantastic sponsored Kent U14 Boys team played their second match of the season in a triangular fixture against Hertfordshire and Essex. They continued their impressive form with another double victory. Buoyed by a strong opening performance, Kent arrived at The Darenth Golf Club full of confidence and team spirit. Kent rose to the occasion again, securing a 7–1 win over Essex. Following that, they earned a hard-fought 5–3 victory against a strong Hertfordshire side. Notably, Hertfordshire fielded one of their best teams in recent years. Throughout the match, all the boys played superbly, showing great skill, composure, and sportsmanship. One standout moment came when Kent players returned to the final holes to support teammates. Overall, it was a real display of unity and team spirit. One of this week’s standout shipments was prepared for a corporate client in Switzerland, who is gearing up for an upcoming golf event. To support their brand presence, the order included a premium selection of branded items and gifts. Specifically, we dispatched custom printed groove cleaners, custom-printed golf bag tags, engraved glassware, and high-quality embroidered headcovers.
