Had, a Worcestershire local, has been part of our extended caddie family for some time. Before he jets off for the start of the LPGA 2026 season, it was wonderful to catch up.

Had caddies on the LPGA Tour for Swedish star and 2025 US Open Champion Maja Stark, who is currently ranked 15th in the world in the Rolex Women’s Golf Rankings. The LPGA season finale takes centre stage this week as the Tour heads to Florida for The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, held at the beautifully maintained Pelican Golf Club in Belleair.

Renowned for its pristine Bermuda fairways, challenging green complexes, and classic design influences, Pelican demands both precision and strategy.

Smart angles are rewarded, while any lapse in discipline can be costly. With CME points, year-end momentum, and a final trophy on the line, players arrive with a mix of urgency and opportunity.

This event is famous for tight leaderboards and dramatic Sunday finishes, making it an ideal stage for late-season breakthroughs or veteran statements. As the sun sets on another LPGA year, Florida provides the perfect backdrop for one last competitive showdown before the 2025 season officially concludes.

Make Your Mark: Custom Golf Ball Markers For Golfers & Events

October 1st, 2025

When it comes to golf, it’s often the little details that make the biggest impact. That’s where custom golf ball markers come in.

At Event Caddie, we design and supply personalised golf ball markers that combine practicality with branding impact. Whether for corporate golf days, golf society events, or tournament giveaways, they are a simple but highly effective way to keep your brand visible on the course.

Why Custom Golf Ball Markers Matter

A personalised golf ball marker isn’t just a golf accessory—it’s a statement. According to the official Rules of Golf, golf ball markers are an essential tool for marking your ball on the green. Adding initials, a company logo, or a unique design helps golfers recognise their ball marker instantly and adds personality to their game.

Boost Brand Visibility

Every time a golfer uses a ball marker, your logo is front and centre on the green. Unlike traditional promotional items, logo ball markers are seen during play, creating repeated brand impressions.

Create a Personal Connection

Personalised golf ball markers make thoughtful gifts, tournament prizes, or keepsakes for club members and event guests.  Customisation ensures each golfer feels recognised and valued.

Durable and Long-Lasting

Designed to withstand years of play, our custom printed golf ball markers maintain their finish and quality, making them a lasting investment for personal use or brand promotion.

A Unique Talking Point

Quirky designs or sleek logos spark conversation on the green, giving your event or brand extra visibility in a social setting.

Our sponsored caddie, Fraser Riddler, and the Event Caddie cap have been out walking the course, where round one of the Kroger Queen City Championship teed off Thursday.

From the very first tee, TPC River’s Bend put on a spectacular show. Lush fairways wind through hardwoods, while water features appear on six holes, and gentle elevation changes make for a challenging start.

Meanwhile, fans packed the galleries to watch World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul, defending champion Lydia Ko, Nelly Korda, Minjee Lee, and other major winners and rising stars battle the Arnold Palmer–designed par-72 layout.

With three rounds still to play and a $2 million purse up for grabs, the weekend promises plenty of drama in the Queen City.

Supporting Young Talent

Local young talent in golf, Tom Gilbert visits us after St Andrews Boys Open

Local youth talent Tom Gilbert visits us after St Andrews Boys Open

A local talent is making waves on the greens! At just 17 years old, Tom Gilbert recently finished an impressive 9th out of 150 players in the prestigious St Andrews Boys Open, a tournament for under-18s that attracts international competitors.

From the very beginning, golf has been part of his life — he first picked up plastic clubs at the age of 3. Today, his game is inspired by his idol Rory McIlroy, with the trusty 8-iron being his go-to club. When it comes to his favourite course, nothing beats St Andrews, the very place where he showcased his talent.

We were therefore delighted to meet him, hear his story, and let him know we’d be glad to sponsor him along his golfing journey in 2026 at county level and beyond.

With skill, passion, and such early dedication, this young golfer with a handicap of 2 is certainly one to watch. Keep an eye on the fairways—because this rising star is just getting started!
